Zagreb/1997 urbanizam javno •• The idea of this project is the transformation of the marketplace into a vertical urban park. New marketplace is designed as a long pavilion placed on the edge of the square, beside the tree alley. In a multi-layered glass pavilion, between the vegetables, fruits, flowers, and papers exists a dense structure of small cafes, small shops for small things, and in the basement – art cinemas, puppet theaters, media-scape studios, etc. The square is covered with artificial surface for temporary activities and events – sports, games, shows, festivals, farmers market, etc.
